Seems that the Apples aren't the only E6 band embracing their inner ELO. On the new benefit album Bridging the Distance, ELO's "Don't Bring Me Down" is covered by Portland pop stars The Minders. The compilation exclusively features covers, with The Decemberists doing Fleetwood Mac ("Think About Me"), The Thermals doing Led Zepplin ("Tangerine"), and The Dandy Warhols doing The Cult ("She Sells Sanctuary").
