New Kingsauce is Coming

We ran a
story last year about
Kingsauce, the "novelty song" recording project of Rich Chodes (who also plays in
Vince Mole and His Calcium Orchestra). At the time he was searching for a label for his second--and "last"--
Kingsauce album,
Cancelled. It's now slated for release later this month on
Little Pocket Records, the label which also put out the compilation of songs created by E6 Townhall scribes,
Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The Townhall Comes to Order.
Kingsauce specializes in carefully-crafted pop songs constructed out of the detritus of 70's pop culture. You can hear a rough version of a track from the new album, "Uneasy Reader," at the band's
MySpace page. I'll post more about the album when it's released.
