I'd added this to the Of Montreal Upcoming Shows page a while back but didn't know what the hell it was. Now that I do know (thanks to the astute funeralpudding), I think it sounds pretty amazing. Don't you wish all your favorite bands would do this? From New York Magazine:

Join wonder-sensation Of Montreal as your personal backing band for an unforgettable night of karaoke. Special Emcee Michael Showalter as Alan Shemper (as seen in Wet Hot American Summer ) hosts us through old and new jams at Studio B in Brooklyn. You sing on stage, Of Montreal plays behind you! Followed by an Of Montreal set of their own. Afterwards, Flosstradamus will keep the night going afterparty-style.
