Elf Power at Daytrotter, Summer Hymns at Southern Shelter

Two of my favorite bands have live material seeping onto the internet today.

Daytrotter, which recently featured an exclusive performance by Of Montreal, now has Elf Power in the studio. The band performs four songs: "The Arrow Flies Close," "An Old Familiar Scene," "Come Lie Down with Me," and "Back to the Web." There's also an interview with Andrew Rieger in which he describes infiltrating a sex cult and riding on alligators with Jeff Mangum!

Meanwhile, our friends at Southern Shelter have posted a recent Summer Hymns performance from the EARL. The Hymns have just released their best album, Backward Masks, on Misra Records, and lots of the new material is featured in this full live set.
